Forming small teams of 4-5 students, ideas are expressed and iterated through hands-on activities where progressive creativity is fostered. Introducing physical model building, foam cutting for diorama layouts, putting together mechanical sensing puzzles, and transforming ideas into digital environments and simulations, students are propelled through deeply engaging and gratifying activities (where real learning happens).
Physical and digital model building motivates and inspires students of all ages to imagine solutions presented by real world design challenges. Introduced to the patterns and wisdom found in nature, participants develop ideas for climate-adaptable innovations based on principles of biomimicry (design based on the natural world).
Program themes are customized for varied age groups and class sizes, as well as adaptable to school and local cultural sensitivities, delivering rich experiences that impact young minds to discover solution-based designing.
